Waffles with banana flour

Procedure: Turn on the waffle iron. Mix the dry ingredients together and add eggs/egg substitute and almond milk gradually. The dough must be completely non-lumpy. The dough is ready when it reminds of a thin pancake dough. When the waffle iron is ready, grease both sides with a little butter. Place the dough in the middle of the waffle iron, so there is still 2 cm of space to the edge. The waffle is ready after 2-3 minutes. Server with fresh fruit and syrup.



  • 1½ dl banana flour
  • 3 dl almond milk
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cardamom powder (or freshly ground cardamom seed)
  • 1 egg (or egg substitute for vegan version)
  • Plant butter for the waffle iron
